Music Development Plan
At Marjory Kinnon School music is an important part of the curriculum for each Key Stage. The school also embraces music beyond the classroom through clubs such as Choir and Rock Band, and annual events such as our talent show 'MKS Has Got Talent', a Primary Christmas Nativity Performance and a Secondary Musical Production which is performed several times to audiences made up of other year groups, staff and parents.
Throughout the year, pupils enjoy musical experiences through our Creative Arts Week, visits from musicians, performances by the School Staff Band and more! We have two school songs which support and re-inforce our pupils' understanding of important attributes of our school. The songs are available for all to listen to here:
