On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to the Marjory Kinnon School website.  We are an all-age (Reception – Year 11) SEND school in the London Borough of Hounslow located close to Heathrow Airport.  We are a school for pupils whose primary need is ASC.

I am very proud to be able to share with you the wonderful opportunities and developments at Marjory Kinnon School. The school is based in a relatively new building (2018), purpose built with exciting and innovative spaces to maximise learning potential and meet sensory needs for all our pupils.

As Headteacher I aim to ensure that the children are at the heart of every decision we make and that the learning opportunities that are provided for them are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.  We aim to teach them the life skills and give them the confidence and independence to become integrated and included in their community.

At the heart of our offer is a big focus on personal development and developing the important basic skills needed to live an independent life.

Our curriculum aims to develop the social communication and life skills that will prepare our pupils for adulthood.  We also focus heavily on developing employability skills that enhance our pupils’ opportunities to integrate and be included in the workplace when they leave us.

The vision and values that underpin our school can be found on this website but in everything we do with our pupils, all our staff strive to achieve our mission to: Nurture, Challenge and Inspire!

Finally, I hope that this website will give you as much information as possible about our school, the staff and the many activities that our children enjoy through our curriculum and our extra-curricular activities and our friendly team are always available to answer any questions.  You will always receive a warm welcome at Marjory Kinnon from the staff, governors and pupils.  You can also experience some of our educational and fun activities by visiting the school’s YouTube channel.
