Yemi: From Apprentice to Full-Time Teacher

Yemi began as an apprentice and quickly proved himself to be a valued member of the PE team. With mentorship, training and experience across key stages, he’s now a qualified PE teacher.

 

Sarah: From Mainstream to SEN

After teaching in a mainstream setting, Sarah made the move to special education. With a passion for inclusive teaching and a desire to make a difference, she joined Marjory Kinnon and now teaches a class in our Primary department.

 

Waleed: From Teacher Training to Qualified Teacher

Waleed joined the school as a trainee and completed his teaching qualification while gaining hands-on classroom experience. Now a qualified teacher in secondary, Waleed reflects on how the school’s structure and support helped him grow professionally and personally from day one.

 

Reema: Teaching Assistant in Art

Reema joined us as a Teaching Assistant with a creative background and a passion for working with young people. As part of the Art team, she supports students in expressing themselves and building confidence through creative learning.

Jake: From Teaching Assistant to Assistant Headteacher

Jake began his career at Marjory Kinnon as a Teaching Assistant. Through commitment, leadership and continuous professional development, he rose through the ranks to become an Assistant Headteacher. His story is a brilliant example of long-term progression and leadership from within our team.
