We know that ensuring that your child attends the school that can best meet their needs is of paramount importance to parents. This can be an even more sensitive issue for parents of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Marjory Kinnon School is one of the UK’s largest SEN schools, supporting over 300 students aged 4-16. With a primary focus on children with autism, the school’s mission is to Nurture, Challenge, and Inspire, helping students reach their full potential through learning, play, and meaningful experiences.

Leaders’ and staff’s holistic way of working enables pupils to achieve well.” - Ofsted

We welcome visits from parents who would like to visit the school and discuss their child’s needs. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.

    Joining Marjory Kinnon School

Applications for places at Marjory Kinnon must be made through London Borough of Hounslow’s SEN Department and SEN Panel, and not directly to the school.

When an application for Marjory Kinnon is made through the local authority’s SEN Panel, a young person’s Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP), recent reports and other relevant paperwork will be sent to the school. We will carefully assess whether we feel our school is able to meet the young person’s needs and make a decision on whether to offer a place at the school.

Occasionally, we are not able to offer a place. This may be if the school is full; if we are unable to meet the young person’s specific requirements; or if the young person has challenging behaviour which presents a health and safety risk to other pupils.
