In the early years we recognise that starting school can be challenging for many children and therefore provide the children with phased induction period to ease them into school gently, allowing time for the children to meet staff, explore their new school environment and become familiar and comfortable with their new routines and settings.
In July parents will be offered the opportunity to come into school for a tour of the department and attend a welcome meeting with staff. This will be followed by an induction period for the children.
